WV Weddings Vendor Guide
Chelsea Hellen Photography is a wedding photographer located in Morgantown, WV. Chelsea has been capturing weddings for about 10 years and loving every minute of it. Chelsea thoroughly enjoys capturing all the in between moments of a wedding like couples laughing and having the time of their lives at their reception, the stolen kisses in between portraits, and more.
I discovered my love for photography and art in general because of a happy accident my Freshmen year of high school when I was placed in a photography class by accident. From then on I knew I wanted to stick with photography and learn more about the art. The more time I spent with a camera in my hand the easier it was for me to see that this was the career I wanted to be in. I love being able to capture memories for families that may only last a split second in real time but can be preserved in a photograph forever. I graduated high school in 2009 and started shooting portraits and weddings immediately. Through working with fellow photographers and countless hours behind a camera, I have learned a lot about the art of photography, but I’m constantly learning and trying new things.
If you're looking at wedding packages and wondering who my assistant or second shooter would be, well, here's your answer! My wonderful wife and I shoot any 2 photographer wedding package together. Jackie has been shooting with me for about 5 years now. Being married means that she can predict what I'm going to need, honestly, most times before I even know. She's worked countless weddings with me and is the person I trust most in life. For those reasons, she makes the perfect assistant for a wedding day. I absolutely love being a married photography team.
We have been together for 6 wonderful years and married for two. There's no one else I'd rather spend my days with whether that at home or on the job.
Photography tells a story and while I may not be able to tell your story in words, I promise that I will give it my everything to show your story through moments frozen in time.
